We work with trades who show up, do quality work, and hit their dates.
VNG runs commercial interior renovation projects across the GTA, offices, medical clinics, restaurants, retail, and industrial. We work with a consistent pool of quality subcontractors and we are always looking to add reliable trades to our network.
Three things we need
from every trade partner.
Simple requirements. But we hold to them on every project, and we expect you to as well.
Quality work, first time
Commercial interiors have to pass inspection and satisfy clients who will be in the space every day. We do not tolerate shortcuts. Work done wrong comes back out and comes back right, no exceptions.
On-site when you commit to be there
We run tight commercial schedules. If you book a date, you hold the date. If something changes, you tell us immediately so we can adjust the sequence. Surprises are not acceptable in deadline-driven construction.
Current WSIB clearance and liability insurance
Every trade on a VNG project must carry current WSIB coverage and commercial general liability insurance at the limits we specify. This is non-negotiable. We verify before your crew steps on site.
The scopes we hire
subtrades for.
Commercial framing crews for office TIs, medical, and retail. Both shell build-out and remedial framing. Light gauge and wood framing.
Licensed ESA-permitted electrical contractors for commercial tenant improvements. Panel upgrades, rough-in, and trim. ESA permit management preferred.
Commercial plumbers for washroom additions, kitchen rough-in, medical plumbing, and drain modifications. Permit experience required.
Commercial HVAC modification, new VAV zones, ventilation rough-in, exhaust systems, and mechanical coordination for medical and restaurant fit-outs.
Commercial interior painting crews. Rolling, spraying, and detail work. High-throughput crews for large office TIs preferred.
LVT, carpet tile, rubber, polished concrete, and hardwood installation for commercial interiors. Substrate prep and self-levelling included.
Custom millwork installation, reception counters, cabinetry, and finish carpentry. Site-built and shop-built installations.
T-bar grid, drywall, specialty, and acoustic ceiling installation. Large commercial ceiling crews for high-volume TIs.
Straight talk, clear scopes,
and invoices paid on time.
VNG runs clean projects. Scopes are written out and agreed before your crew mobilizes. Change orders are priced and signed before extra work starts. We pay on the schedule we commit to. We do not make subtrades chase invoices.
Written scopes before every mobilization
You know exactly what you are being hired to do before your crew sets foot on site. No verbal agreements, no scope creep without a written change order.
Site is ready when you arrive
We sequence the schedule so your trade does not arrive to a space that is not ready. Your time on site is productive from day one.
Invoices paid on the agreed schedule
We pay to the payment schedule in the subcontract. No excuses, no delays on signed off work. Subtrades who perform get paid first and get called again.
Clear feedback and consistent communication
If work is not up to standard, we tell you directly and we work it out. You will not hear about quality issues on the next project, you will hear about them in real time, on this one.
