What we actually
stand behind.
These are not words on a wall. These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every single project. If we fall short, you will hear it from us first.
Accountability
We own the outcome. If a project hits a wall, we scale our team, extend our hours, and protect your deadline like it is our own. Because it is.
Transparency
No disappearing acts. No sugar coating. You get direct, clear communication whether the news is good or bad. That is how trust gets built.
Excellence
Our reputation lives on the job site, not in a slide deck. Every wall, every finish, every detail has to meet the same standard we would put our name next to.
Reliability
We do what we say we will do. Every time. That is the standard we set for ourselves at the start of every project, and it is the standard we hold ourselves to at the end of every one.
“We built VNG around one simple belief: if you say you are going to do something, you do it. No exceptions, no excuses. That is what accountability actually means on a job site.”Vullnet Nura, Founder of VNG
What these words actually
mean on a job site.
Anyone can write a value statement. Here is what VNG's values look like when a project hits a wall, which they always do eventually.
Permit comes back with a comment. Two days lost.
Week three of a 7-week office TI. The building permit for the washroom comes back with a comment requiring updated drawings. VNG resequences immediately: frames the open office first, keeps every other trade moving, and picks up the washroom once the revised drawing is approved. The overall timeline does not move.
Site condition discovered after demo. Scope expands.
Demo reveals that the existing slab has a pour-stop that the drawings did not show. It affects the partition layout in one area. We stop, document it, photograph it, and call the PM that day, not at the end of the week. We present two options with cost and schedule impact for each. The client decides. We proceed. No surprises on the invoice.
Drywall finish on a corporate office. Level 4 means Level 4.
A project manager specifies Level 4 drywall finish throughout. VNG applies Level 4 across the entire surface, three full coats, sanded to a consistent flatness. Paint under oblique light will reveal every imperfection, and we make sure there are none to reveal. The spec we agreed to is the spec we deliver.
Millwork delivery date set at week one. Delivered at week seven.
The custom reception desk takes five weeks from shop approval to delivery. We place that order on day three of the project, not when we think we need it. We confirm the delivery date with the shop at the start of week six. The millwork arrives Monday morning of week seven, as scheduled. Not because we got lucky. Because we planned for it six weeks earlier.
What we commit to
on every single project.
These are not aspirational goals. These are the specific commitments we make to every client at the start of every project, and we hold ourselves accountable to them at every phase.
Itemized Quote, Zero Surprises
Your quote will be broken out by trade. Every exclusion will be listed explicitly. Every condition that could affect cost will be flagged before you sign, not after we start. No change order ambushes.
One Point of Contact, Full Authority
You get one PM who owns the whole project and has the authority to solve problems without escalating up a chain. When you call, the person who answers can make decisions. No runaround.
Structured Updates, Always
You receive structured progress updates on a cadence agreed at project start. Material issues are escalated the same day. You will never need to chase us to find out what is happening on your site.
Deadline Protection, Not Deadline Acceptance
When a project falls behind, we do not accept the slip. We re-sequence, scale up, extend hours. Your handoff date is a commitment. If we cannot protect it, you hear it from us first, with a plan instead of an apology.
Change Orders in Writing, Before We Proceed
Every scope change, without exception, is documented in a formal written change order showing cost and schedule impact. You approve it in writing before we do the work. No verbal agreements. No surprises on the final invoice.
Punch List Closed at Handoff
We do our own internal walk before the client walkthrough. The list we hand you is short and actionable. 80% of items close same-day. We do not hand you a 60-item punch list and disappear to the next project.
Values are proven
by the work itself.
